Yoline Lab TPU is engineered to redefine flexible 3D printing by combining a full hardness range, exceptional printability, and high-speed performance within a unified material system. Unlike most conventional TPU materials that often require specialized extrusion assistance or modified hardware, Yoline Lab TPU is designed for stable and consistent printing without auxiliary extrusion support across most grades.
What Makes Conventional TPU Frustrating
If you've printed TPU before, you've probably encountered some of these common frustrations:
- Filament buckling or jamming in the extruder
- Inconsistent feeding causing under-extrusion
- The need for direct drive extruders or specialized hardware
- Extremely slow print speeds required
- Poor dimensional accuracy
- Stringing and blobbing
- Inconsistent performance between spools
Most TPU brands accept these as inherent limitations of flexible materials. We didn't.
What Makes Yoline Lab TPU Different
1. Full Hardness Coverage — 85A to 72D
Most TPU brands offer one or two hardness options. Yoline Lab provides a complete spectrum across five distinct grades — TPU85A, TPU90A, TPU95A, TPU98A, and TPU72D.
This means you can select the exact balance of flexibility, rigidity, and mechanical performance your application requires — from ultra-soft wearable products to engineering-grade industrial components. One material family, consistent quality standards, full application coverage.
2. Stable Printing Without Auxiliary Extrusion
One of the biggest barriers to TPU adoption is the widespread belief that you need a direct drive extruder or specialized hardware to print flexible materials successfully.
Yoline Lab TPU is engineered to challenge this assumption. Except for TPU85A, all other TPU grades — 90A, 95A, 98A, and 72D — are formulated for stable extrusion and smooth feeding without requiring additional extrusion assistance.
This means you can print high-performance flexible materials on standard FDM printers, including Bowden-style setups, without the frustration and limitations that have historically defined TPU printing.
3. High-Speed Printing Capability
Conventional wisdom says TPU must be printed slowly — often at 20-30mm/s or slower. Yoline Lab has rewritten that rule.
Our TPU95A supports ultra-high-speed flexible printing up to 500mm/s, maintaining consistent extrusion and strong layer adhesion even under high-speed conditions. This transforms TPU from a slow, specialty material into a viable option for production environments and time-sensitive projects.
4. Precision Diameter Control
Flexible materials are notoriously difficult to control dimensionally during production. Yoline Lab applies the same rigorous standards to TPU as to our rigid materials:
TPU diameter tolerance: 1.75mm ± 0.03mm
Real-time laser monitoring tracks diameter continuously during extrusion, ensuring dimensional consistency across every meter of filament. Combined with precision spooling technology, this delivers stable, long-duration printing with minimal interruptions.
5. Strict Moisture Control
TPU is highly hygroscopic — it absorbs moisture aggressively from the environment. Wet TPU prints terribly, producing stringing, bubbling, and weak layer adhesion.
Yoline Lab TPU undergoes a carefully controlled drying process with material-specific parameters, and moisture content is verified below 0.3% before vacuum packaging. Every spool is sealed in reusable aluminum foil packaging with desiccant protection, preserving material quality from our facility to your printer.
6. Built on Years of TPU Manufacturing Experience
Our TPU capabilities weren't developed overnight. They are the result of years of dedicated formulation tuning, process optimization, and large-scale TPU production for demanding OEM clients. This specialized experience — rare in the filament industry — is embedded into every spool of Yoline Lab TPU.
